Simply put:
Whether it's a mangrove swamp tree forestation project in Madagascar or cooperating with a rabies innoculation program in Kenya, our goal is to seek holistic solutions.
We connect local people with their environment by incorporating employment opportunities and conservation education programs into reforestation efforts.
Our approach includes agroforestation, local employment, finding incentives to decrease cutting down new forests and planting species that naturally occur in the local areas, to ensure compatibility with local wildlife and native plants.
Heavenly Treasures contributes the proceeds from the sale of Ethiopian Coffee to the ministry of Eden Projects. For more info go to http://edenprojects.org/

Changing Lives in Ethiopia...
...Changing Hearts in Menlo Park
God has called Menlo Park Presbyterian to become involved with Ethiopia. Politically and spiritually strategic in many ways, Ethiopia is in the midst of a significant church revival and outreach into the Middle East. At the same time, the country faces the AIDS epidemic and devastating poverty. In response, a concentration of indigenous Ethiopian ministries is at work in this country. MPPC is actively partnering with these groups. God's Spirit is moving an increasing number of us to support them and is transforming our hearts in the process.
