WE ARE A MEMBER OF
Livelihood Projects - Philippines - Village Handcrafters
Village Handcrafters
This is the foundational program of Village Handcrafters and is where we get our name. We train workers from the churches that participate in the program to make world class products which are sold in the country of manufacture as well as by Village Handcrafters USA. All profits from sales are returned to the program overseas. Product sales provide pastor's salaries, training, employment for workers in their churches, church needs, medical assistance for the communitites and a comprehensive community development program for their impoverished areas. These resources help the churches to demonstrate active compassion to their areas and further the advance of the gospel.
We are a non profit Christian agency working with impoverished churches in the third world. When you purchase the products you are partnering with the poor and helping to empower them to make a difference in their needy communities.
Village Handcrafters is in the process of building their first ECO HABITAT. This is a self sustaining center that teaches composting, recycling, water processing and many more skills. Ed Landry is gifted with vision and organization! He has put the plans together for this Habitat and will be concentrating efforts to move this project forward in March. We plan to visit the paper project along with the Eco Habitat on our trip to Asia in March!
We welcome Village Handcrafters to the Heavenly Treasures network!
